Meet the guides

Ollie
A smooth-coated otter — the family you'll see fishing along the Kallang River and Marina Bay. Ollie covers the coast: Central, East and South, and packs the bag on the What to Pack page.

Pango
A Sunda pangolin, Singapore's shyest native and a critically endangered one; a few hundred still live in the forests of Bukit Timah and the Central Catchment. Pango covers the North and West and takes the haze watch.
How to use the zone pages
Every page opens with the live strip: the zone's 1-hour PM2.5 and 24-hour PSI, whether NEA's nearest rain gauges are wet, and the 2-hour nowcast for its key areas. Below that is a packing list generated from the same readings, then the places worth your time and a few honest answers to the questions visitors ask.
For the island as a whole, the what to wear and pack guide covers the seasons, and the rain radar shows where the showers are heading right now.
